Do not refrain from rescuing your friend from danger

“Do not stand by idly without saving your brother” Vayikra 19:16

For example- if you see another person drowning in the river, or any other danger he is obligated to save him in any way possible.

Included is the duty to save one’s fellow man from monetary loss.

For example, he knows a heathen or a bandit wishes to attack his friend and he has the ability to pacify the outlaw then he must pacify him.

This applies in all places at all times for men and women.
