Do not entertain any thought that there is any god except for the blessed God. (2nd of 10 Commandments)

“You shall have no other gods before Me” Shmos 20:3

Whoever entertains any thought that there is another god except Him, or there is a partner, or considers that there is substance to idol-worship denies the fundamental principle (of one God)

One is not to say any word whose intention is heresy or some acknowledgement of idolatry.

Acknowledging idol worship is tantamount to heretical denial of the entire Torah since he denies the fundamental principle.

We are obligated to be prepared to give our lives and possessions for this.

Regarding all things applicable to the main principle of Judaism there is an obligation to be prepared to give up your life rather than transgress.

This applies in all places at all times for men and women.

Do not entertain any thought that there is any god except for the blessed God. (2nd of 10 Commandments)
