 Do not kill any human being. (6th of 10 Commandments)

 

 “Do not murder” Shemos 20:13

 

For deliberately killing a human being he is executed by the sword.

 

If he did not kill him with his own hand but only caused his death, he is not subject to execution by the court but is punishable by death at Heavens hand.

Taking a Jews life is equivalent to destroying a whole world.

 

To hasten a person’s death close to the departure of his life, is like bloodshed.

 

This applies in all places at all times for men and women.
