Do not eat Chometz (Leaven food) the day before Pesach after midday.
“Do not eat leaven bread over it” Devarim 15:3
Meaning the Pesach offering was brought at the time of the seventh hour (of the day)
The eating of leaven the day before Pesach after six hours should receive a whipping.
The Sages prohibited eating and deriving any benefits from the beginning of the 6th hour.
In the 5th hour eating is prohibited but deriving benefit is permitted.
This applies in all places at all times for man and women.
