Daily Mitzvot

Cover the blood of the slaughter for kosher untamed animals or fowl. 

 

As it says regarding the animal or bird “he shall pour out the blood and cover it with earth” Vayikra 17:13

Its required to place earth underneath, then slaughter and then cover it up.

The ‘earth” teaches us that earth is below and earth above.

This is applicable in all places and at all times for men and women.
