Eat Matzos the first night of Passover

“In the evening you shall eat Matzah/ unleavened bread” Shmos 12:18

Matzah is required to be from one of the species of grain.

They are wheat, barley, spelt, oats and rye.

Woman are also obligated regarding Matzah.

Small children who can eat food are to be educated with an olive size amount.

It’s forbidden according to the Scribes to eat Matzah the day preceding Passover in order to eat Matzah with an appetite.

Marror (Bitter herbs) and Charoset (mixture of fruit and spices) is a Mitzvah according to the Scribes.

On Marror we are required to make a blessing (benediction) “Who made us holy with his Mitzvahs and commanded us regarding eating Maror”

On the Charoset no blessing is required at all.

This applies in all places at all times for men and women.
